HEalth is wealth. According to WHO health is defined as the pysical, emotional, spiritual, psychological well being not mearly the absence of disease. From the definition it is clear that a person is said to be healthy when they had well in physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and all other aspect of life. So the healthcare system not only focus on the prevention of disease but also on the promotion and manitanance of well being in all aspcet of life.

So while assessing the health characterstics of a community we need to find the physical, emotional, social and cultural values and practices of the community and also examine those specific values to find the health problems present in the community.
