If a person is planning to go a long travel must see the physician some days before the travel to make sure that the person is fit for travel. It is very important to complete the journey with out any complications.

If the person is diabetic must do something before the travel with the physician.

  • Blood glucose level will interrupted during travel .Dose adjustment should be plan during planning of journey.
  • If the person is crossing beyond the zone ,the time of medication administration will be altered. Hense this must tell to the physician before starting travel ,and plan accordingly.
  • Make sure that the blood glucose level is within normal range before starting the journey.
  • Try to wear a medical badge ,and all medications with the person always.

Anyway it is important to make normal blood sugar before staring travel,and plan the dose with the physician.
