Although electronic health records are time saviour & convinient to use but there are some assosisted challenges whlie dealing with EHR, like:

There are risks regarding data security of the patient in the computer system or electronic system as are vulnerable for hacking now a days. Thus there are issues related with patient data confidentiality.

Further there are also reported evidence of data bottlenecks due to improper user interface.

It is essential to depute a well skilled trained staff and it is seen that there is lack of trained staff to maintain EHR till date.
