A non-staff doctor schedules a procedure at a hospital. Being a Catholic affiliated hospital, they cancel the appointment a day before it's scheduled after learning it is in connection to a transgender transition which conflicts with hospital doctrine. Can the hospital or facility itself be liable for patient abandonment?
Answer;
No the hospital or any facility belong to it will not take any responsibility in this condition for the client, because the one who scheduled the procedure was a non staff of the hospital and the procedure that doctor had planned was completely contradicted to their hospital philosophy or their doctrinal belief. So the hospital administration has a full right to deny these act and they are free from any kind of liable. The one who is responsible for the client is the one who scheduled the procedure in that inappropriate place.
