Discuss the view that Ethics and Law are the engine that drives Professionalism in Health Care Practice*

Medical ethics is a system of moral principles which adds values to the professionalism in Health care practices.

Based on the ethics and laws professionals can refer and find out solution to tackle the situation in case of confusion & conflict in the difficult medical situations.

It includes respect for autonomy, non - maleficene, beneficence &, justice.

The Nuremberg code ,the hippocratic oat, the Declaration of Helsinki are well known for ethics& they are the engines that drive professionalism.  applying this we can apply practical application in clinical settings for welfare of patients.

for example: ethanasia, patient confidentiality, informed consent, conflicts of interest in health care. These should be taken care under ethics ,if anyone not comply by the ethics there is a law to create deterrence and punish them.
