Can an action be both legal and unethical
The term “ethics” refers to the judgment of right and wrong regarding an issue or response to issues with the moral implications of right and wrong. So, the ethics differ one individual to the other based on culture, social background, and ethnic diversity. The three types of ethics are personal, professional and organizational ethics.
Ethics are different from laws. Unethical acts are not considered as “illegal acts” and certain unethical acts can be legally allowed. For example, owning slaves is legally allowed in the United States once upon a time, but it is unethical to own a human being as a slave.
