Pathohysiology of acute kidney injury

Acute kidney damge is the condition where the kidney function is decreased to the level where the body is not able to excrete wste products of maintain balance. The pathophyisiology may be multifactorial and this case this condition occurs due to damage to the kidney function through jse of ampicilin, researcb suggest that the drug has tendnecy to cause kidney damage and impair renal function vy causibg crystaluria and neprotoxicity.

Hence in this case the occurrence of AKI is due to the reaction to drug.
