If Mr. Montoya has a metastatic brain tumor, and has been discharged to home. Is it more important that you as the home health nurse make sure that he is comfortable or that he maintains his regimen of chemotherapy (for this situation assume that he cannot have both)?

Metastatic brain tumor is abnormal proliferation of immature brain cell resulting tumor

Treatment option is vary patient to patient ,if patient is discharged after diagnosis for chemotherapy as home health ,nurse must advice to the patient for taking proper chemotherapy regimn keep this in priority

Because of chemotherapy is shink the tumor size which help the surgeon in surgery

Home health nurse must encourage the patient to take chemothearpy and also side effect

Chemothearpy have many side effect like fatigue,alopecia,vomiting,depression and localise phelebitis in vein after chemotherapy cycle complete

All side effect should tell to patien by nurse
