Technolgical factors- factors like less invasive procedures and surgeries and immediate discharge of patients

Clinician practice factors- clinicians have their own ambulatory services and speciality care centers

Societal factors- Patients wants to have home based care with indepence

Medical reimbursement- increased reimbursement in outpaient basis led to the decline

Cost effective care- patients willing to get care at home can adopt the services according to their income
