The specialization in the outpatient world has affected the inpatient arena as now more and more patients are treated in the outpatient and hence they don’t need hospitalization now. Increased specialization of the outpatient will lead to a reduced cost of health care; hence be supported in the future as well.Currently, for this reason, only many surgeries are also conducted in the outpatient such as the cataract surgery as this reduces the number of staff required and the cost as well.
