Many Americans believed their future health care costs would be
covered by their employers, yet a generation of current and
near-term prospective retirees has had their health insurance
curtailed or eliminated outright. Does the government now have an
ethical obligation to provide affordable access to health care
since it failed to protect employee expectations?

The government now has an ethical obligation to provide affordable access to health care since it failed to protect employee expectations. Further, the main aim of the affordable care act is to provide insurance coverage to all the people in the society. When countless people below the poverty line have got insured due to the affordable care act the insurance coverage should be provided to these people as well these employees are no exception to the rule.
