There are basically two postureal reflexces responsible for postural controls and movement of the body for the maintenance of normal body posture with desired alignment.

1. Static postural reflexes: It maintains the balance of the body and its position towards upright. Also helps in the development and control of the postural reactions in the predictable sequence.

2. Phasic postural reflexes: It maintains the stable background as per the voluntary action.

Overall it control antigravity, stable backgrownd movement as well as allignment for the center of gravity.
