A female patient comes into the ER with open fracture of her right tibia. Past medical history of DM, COPD, HTN, Hypercholesterolemia, Afib, and smoker. Her only abnormal lab vaules were glucose of 200. BUN 30 and creatinine of 1.6. I need to know rationals for each of these abnormal lab values based off the information i provided about the patient.

  • Her Blood glucose level 200 shows hyperglycemia as patient is having past history of DM it shows she is properly not following medical mangment or due to stress also her blood glucose levels may increase.
