Nursing intervention

1.head of the bed should be elevated to prevent ventilator associated pneumonia by preventuning fluid collection in lungs.

2.suctioning should be done in every hour to ease the airflow

3.change the position of the patient every 2 hourly to prevent pressure ulcer.

4.check the connections and settings of the machine to reduce errors.

5.maintain personnel hygiene and environmental hygiene of the patient to prevent infection.
