Immanuel Kant's kantian deontology ethical theory plays a vital role for various different reasons. He is completely responsible for deontological ethics. Kant's theory based on view of people for rationality.

The duty based deontological ethics are based on what actions are right which means what people do not considering the consequences of their actions. The people has to consider certain points such as wrong things should be avoided because of they are wrong, only right things should be done.

The people who follows duty-based ethics should follow always right things ignoring its bad effects. For instance, keep promises. They should avoid wrong things such as stealing, telling lies, killing people, etc. to avoid bad results.
