Answer #1

Administration of medication is the most important and careful task for nurses as any error might harm to the patient. If the nurse found that she didn't give any medicine on time, administer it at that time itself. If she found that she had given seeing dosage of medicine, immediately she should check the vital signs of the patient and repeat it after 15 minutes and 30minute and after that hourly or second hourly.

While preparing medicine for administration, the nurse should make sure that she wouldn't get any distractions and also cross check with an another nurse especially a senior staff weather she prepared it correctly before giving to your patient. Also identity the patient before giving it to him and recheck the orders at patient side also. It will reduce the medication administration errors.
