Integumentary system consists of the skin, nail, glands it's main function is to act as barrier, protect the body from outside world. It also functions as to retain the body fluids, save against disease and to eliminate the waste materials from the body and also regulate the temperature of the body

Impaired elimination affects the integumentary systems by increasing the level of metabolic waste and electrolyte into the body.

Sweat glands into the skin also play a active roles in the excretory system or the organ like kidney and glands that flash out toxins and excess minerals from the body.

So, impairment of any of these affects the integumentary system.
