The function that I learned in Excel which I can apply to nursing is the use of various excel in various statistical work of mine such as the calculation of the significance level i.e. alpha i.e. the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis given that it is true. Thus in my carrier as a nurse whenever I research and hypothesize something and then do experiments based on the statistical calculation of my significance level; I can reject or accept the null hypothesis.
