One body system that I have struggled with this term includes the nervous system as this system is made up of a network of more than 100 million nerve cells called as; neurons which are assisted by many more glial cells. This system controls our senses and all the other systems of our body so it makes it too complex. In my profession of a nursing, this system is very important to a good understanding of this system will help me in developing an understanding of all other systems of the body. Thus I will develop an understanding of the various systems to maintain the homeostasis of the body. I will develop an understanding of the correct route for administering a drug by keeping in mind the blood-brain barrier.
