Answer #1

The latter one who is is need of an urgent surgery is under more anxiety .

The first patient has come for regular check up for blood tests and he is aware of the tests and the procedures that will follow . So he understands what is required and what will be done so he will be not or less worried unless he he is scared of the results or the procedure of collection of blood but still it is less likely to have any stressed feeling.

However, the second person is posted for urgent surgery for serious issue. He is likely to worry more as he is first of all has serious problems, he would be concerned about the surgery, pain, prognosis or he can even think of death as he is placed in a stressful situation of emergency. The procedures and hurriedness seen in the caregivers while taking the patient for the surgery can also trigger severe anxiety.
