Surgery is usually adviced for high risk locally advanced prostate cancer.

Radiation therapy is good choice for early stage prostate cancer.

The main advantage of proton beam therapy is its ability to localize the radiation dosage more accurately when compared to other types of radiation therapy. Proton beam therapy has increased survival rate among prostate cancer patients.

However chemotherapy,hormonal therapy and cryosurgery also included in treatment strategies depending on patient condition.
