What are activities of activites of daily living and describe what ADLs would be required assistance at home for patients with different disabilities?

ADLs or activities of daily living are the activities done by a person for self care like Bathing, Clothing, Brushing, eating etc.

The disability are many types like Mentaly disabled or physicaly disabled etc.

The assitance required in ADLs are depend on the type of disability and severity of disability.

If a person is old age then his physical stregnth is very low to do daily necessary work like Walking efficiently, Reading papers, bathing, eating etc. so we have to assist the old person to do his daily work like help in walking, bathing, eating, read paper for him etc.

If person have chronic illness then we have to provide supporting therapy like assist in physical exercise, assist in taking medicines, oral hygiene etc.
