Primary care nursing is the first level of care that a patient receives and the care is given base on the health promotion, patient wellness, prevention of health issues. Primary care nursing mostly work in the primary health care setting because they are mostly working with primary care physician. The role of the primary care nurse includes a prior physical examination, screening, check-up before the physician sees the patient. They are also responsible for the direct patient care like treatment of the patient after the diagnosis.
