Answer #1

Answer : Client most likely to become hypoglycemic between 10:00-11:00 am

Regular insulin start acting within 30 minutes, peaks between 2 to 3 hours after subcutaneous injection, and generally lasts about 5–8 hours. The client most likely to become hypoglycemic during the peak time of action between 2 to 3 hours. Here 8 units of regular insulin given subcutaneous at 8 am. So add  2 to 3 hours with 8:00 am to find the peak action time, then the answer will be 10:00 - 11:00 am.
