In your own words, how is Augmented/Virtual Reality beneficial in detecting diseases in healthcare?
Augmented reality or virtual reality is an instrument or an equipment which helps visualise the world or certain scenes which is not possible with the human naked eye with the help of a computed generated information or software. It is very much beneficial when it comes to healthcare and detecting diseases as it helps to get the 3 dimensional view of the organs or inner body. For example, if a person has CA of liver and we want to know where exactly the cancer cells has metastised, we can make use of AR/VR and using the computer software to visualise the organs and the cells we can detect the metastasis of the cancerous cells.
