Question

If I were a nurse on the unit and was asked to be on a committee to make changes I would recommend that medication records are gone over more thoroughly and everyone is aware of what a patient needs at all times. I would also recommend making sure the families are completely informed and understand the care plan that goes along with their loved one. Having all members of a hospital be on the same page with their patients is most important and communication between all parts of a health care team need to be more of a priority. Nurses are the voice for their patients between family members and doctors so they need to pay attention to all possible changes of their patients and report/document Anything they see cause it could be what saves someone’s life.
