A. Staphylo on a Columbia agar with 5% defibrinated sheep blood shows a round, convex and 1-4mm in diameter with a sharp border. On blood agar plates colonies of Staphylo are surrounded by zones of clear beta hemolysis. They appear in a grape-like clusters.
B. Vibrio are curved bacteria. They are comma-shaped bacteria with less than one complete turn or twist in the cell
C. Diplo- the cylindrical or rod shaped bacteria. Most of them appear as single rods and in pair after division.
