In disinfection process, explain in 3 paragraph how can a certain disinfectant target only pathogenic microorganism?

Disinfection is the process by which pathogenic organisms are destroyed. It's methods include physical methods (boiling pasteurization and using ultra violet light) and chemical methods (alcohol, halogen and heavy metals) and biological using phages.

Activities of disinfectant depends on temprature and ph of process , microbial load, type of organism and length of contact time.

Disinfect are not as much as specific. But some are resistant to spore of bacillus specie, micobacteria, nonlipid viruses (polio viruses) and fungi. Lipid viruses such as herpes simplex are susceptible to disinfect.

Biological disinfect are more specific than chemicals agent. Specificity of disinfectant may be due to the presence of antigens in the surface of pathogen.
