In case of pregnancy :- folic acid is a vitamin that helps baby's neural growth . Folic acid supplements dramatically cut of having a baby spina bifida or neural tube defects . Female that have no adequate amount of folic acid in their body at a risk of baby having neural tube defects . Women have to take folic acid before 3 months from the conception .
