Protective measures should be taken to avoid disclosure of the
information given by the employee.
Make the employee aware of the time they are allowed to request
or procure family medical information.
According to GINA, warn the healthcare provider while
conducting the medical examination, that they are not supposed to
get genetic information from the others. It should be informed in
writing or verbally.
Stop the healthcare provider from violating GINA.
Information collected should be kept confidential and one
should not dig into it to know more on it.
Never allow anyone to search the candidate’s name and
particular genetic marker using the internet which could violate
GINA rules.
