Two examples of high fiber foods i consume in my diet are beans and Avocados.
Beans -
A person needs approx 30 - 35 gm of fibers in a day. Beans are reached in a high fiber, one cup of cooked beans contains 15 gm of fiber that is almost half of the requirement.
Avocados -
A cup of Avocdos contains 10 grams of dietary fiber.
Dietary fibers are the edible part of plants that are not completely broken by the digestive enzymes. it help in reducing constipation and keeps the gastrointestinal tract healthy.
It also helps in the absorption of nutrients and water in the GI tract, it provides food to the bacteria and microbia present in large intestine.
Example of fiber includes cellulose, and lignin.
