Problematic alcohol consumption influence a young persons
adherence to an asthma medicine regime because of the following
reasons:-
- Alcohol abuse worsen the symptoms of asthma. It also trigger a
full-blown asthma attack.
- Histamine and Sulfite are the two main components responsible
for the above response.
- Histamine are produced during fermenting alcohol and Sulfite
are used as preservatives.
- These two could potentially be allergenic and can contribute to
an asthma attack.
