She c/o slight pain on inspiration. Lungs with scattered crackles R>L. She is answering questions coherently and asks you when she is being discharged. What is your response?

Answer - You are now in Oxygen therapy, without this therapy your oxygen saturation will drop below the normal level. The chest infection is still there that's why doctors giving you IV antibiotics.

You are physically not all right now If you go home now the condition maybe worsen In that case you may need ventilator support.

Wait till infection suppressed then doctors change Intravenous antibiotics to Oral antibiotics and we will take away oxygen then you can go home.
