Incubation

9-14 days falcipuram malaria

8-17 days vivax malaria

16-18 days ovale malaria

Clinical features:

Cold stage :headache ,chills, nausea.

Hot stage:skin hot and dry to touch.

Sweating stage:profuse sweating.

Mechanism of malaria: Asexual cycle and sexual cycle.

In asexual cycle in human sporozoite enters in to liver and multiplies merozoites in enters into blood circulation called erythrocytic phase

Treatment: CHLOROQUINE

Day 2 Children 10 mg/kg adults 600mg
Day 3 Children 5mg /kg Adults 300mg
