Answer #1

Physiologic responses to burns: cardiovascular and systemic, cellular, metabolic, immunologic, and evaporative water loss

Cardiovascular Changes cellular and vascular changes due to burn:

Burns causes the vascular changes as blood circulation is disrupted at the burn site. It leads to increased capillary permeability, which causes an increase in blood vasculature which causes the decrease of blood pressure i.e. hypovolmia. In severe condition may results in oedema, shock and ultimately death.

The metabolic rate increases in burn patients to compensate the major water loss.

Down regulation of immune response occurs in the burn. The inflammation occurs at the site followed by infiltration & activation of leukocytes starts to remove cell debris.

Huge water loss occurs in the burn hence there is need of instant fluid replacement
