LABELLING ------ It is the process to identify the students who require special needs ,so that special education services, appoutunites should be design specifically to meet their needs.

REASONS OF LABELLING AND CLASSIFICATION.........

1. By labelling and classification ,we can identify the needs of children so that extra care , support , education , special needy services, extra learning support is provided.

2. Classification helps researchers and practitioners to convey planning with everyone and also help for evaluation and classification of research findings.

3. It is useful to observe dissimilarities in habits, learning and behaviour so, that care and services is given accordingly.

4. System gives resources and funding for various programs and research to fulfill their requirements.
