Answer: Stressful life events: It can be defined as the situation of grief Or sadness which creates changes and cause adjustment in life. The stressful events such as divorce or Injury. In the case of divorce, one has to live without the partners. It causes mental stress. If a person get Injured, the damage such as fracture could lead to stress as he may not join office, Or can do his daily life activities etc.

The negative life events can be explain as the circumstances which causes negative impact on one's mental health. For example, bullying. If some one faces bullying, it has adverse impact on his self esteem. Hence it is a negative life events.

Positive life events can be explained as which creates happiness, positive impact and stress free condition. For example finany security. Suppose a person gets promotion due to his hard work. Hence it has positive Impact on the person.
