All the programmes implemented in a state or country should be delivered equally to all the citizens. Then only the efficiency and results of programmes will be fulfilled. Equity implies impartial distribution.

In a national programme if the beneficiaries are only a part of population ,that will be partiality. The remaining population will not get the advantage of the programme. If equity is maintained, it will include all the population of a country or a state and the impact of the programme can be seen in each and every individual of the country.
