What tools and/or techniques could a manager used to ensure that the message communicated is understood by the receiver as intended.

Answer #1
  • Communicate just one message at a time and don't try to make a fuss by sending many messages at a time because that might confuse the receiver.
  • Manager should write the message in clear language rather than sugar costing it and don't try to embellish or beautify the message.
  • If manager is using media then it should be appropriate and oral mesaage should contain minimal content.
  • Manager should give example of the mesaage he wants to be delivered because if the receiver doesn't get the intention from mesaage, he surely will from the example.
  • Manager should take feedback of the mesaage he has sent so that he can know whether it is understood by the receiver as intended.
