Recurrent Pyelonephritis is inflammation and fibrosis of kidney due to repeated infection may be due to infection ( bacterial) ,reflux problem,repeated UTI.

Nursing consideration should include the management of this patient effectively.

  • Antibiotics
  • Careful monitoring of BP
  • Cholesterol level has to be in normal limit
  • Urine test as frequently as necessary.
  • increase fluid intake
  • Increase intravenous fluid
  • Personal hygiene after voiding

Surgical treatment of urinal structures

  • Urethroplasty if urinal strictures
