As the patient is a case of concussion of brain, the following neurological assessment should be done

.1.Consciousness

2.Mental status :child's level of awareness and interaction with the environment may be assessed by watching the infants interaction with the parents or asking to follow directions.

3.motor function and balance :may be assessed by checking how the child stands and walks, joint may also be checked simply by active and passive movement.

4.plantar reflex :normally as infant's foot is stroked the toes will extend upward. This response usually disappears after a year of age.It has considered abnormal if it persist beyond 2 years of age.

5.sensory examination :touch the hot or cold substance to the child's skin at various dermatomes.

6.cranial nerves can also be examined.

7.ask the history of loss of consciousness, seizure, bleeding from ear/nose/throat
