1. A minor can take their own decisions when the parents or caretakers are not available and they are mentally fit to take such decision. Also in case of some medical decisions , minors, below 18 years are allowed to take decisions.
2. A minor who is "emancipated" assumes most adult responsibilities before reaching the age of majority (usually18). Emancipated minors are no longer considered to be under the care and control of parents -- instead, they take responsibility for their own care.
3. A mature minor is someone below 18years and who are allowed to take some of their medical decisions .
4. Necessaries are something which is essential or food, clothing, or shelter essential for the maintenance of a dependant in the condition of life to which he or she is accustomed.
