What are some of the moral issues that are raised by prenatal testing? Should prenatal tests be done even if they often result in parents choosing to terminate their pregnancies if they find that they have a high chance of genetic abnormality?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Some if the moral issues that are raised by prenatal screening are

  • Harming a fetus unintentionally for test
  • Why mothers are given rights to terminate if there is any genetic or disability
  • How a couple will cope after knowing their fetus has some abnormalities
  • Surrogates cannot make personal decision
  • May affect equality and individual
  • Plan for end and try again can be practiced

Definitely prenatal screening has been to be done because it can prevent birth of any newborn with deadly diseases and survive a painful life where a mother can go for termination as a choice

Political Science - What should our county do about immigration reform? Some Republicans and Democrats have discussed new laws that would provide a pathway to citizenship for existing undocumented immigrats coupled with stricter border conforcement, Critics (many of them Republicans) label these ideas as yet another misguided amnesity program (forgiveness) that will result in even more undocumented immigrants (or, in the words of many of these critics, illegal immigrants) in the future. What if anything, shuld our elected leadersdo? Brifely discuss.

A 95% chance is very high, and so the doctor will assume that the patient has the disease and will start an aggressive and potentially dangerous course of treatment. For your first problem, you will show that, for rare diseases, this common...
