When you took her history, you learnt that she diagnosed with HIV infection 2 years ago during a routine exam. She asks a specialist dentist you can recommend nearby? You advise a dentist to your patient.

a. Evaluate the communication between pharmacist-patient and pharmacist-physician in terms of medical ethics.

b. Describe the effective communication that should be between the pharmacist-patient and pharmacist-physician.

a. The communication between the pharmacist and the patient is based on the principle of beneficence. Here the pharmacist after engaging in patient conversation has directed the client to visit a dentist for better treatment and prevent it in future .The pharmacist physician conversation is professional and addressing a patient concern as an advocate to provider.

b.The effective communication between the pharmacist and client is the client willing to clarify doubts ,engage in conversation by reresponding to the pharmacist .Between the pharmacist and physician an effective communication means the provider accepting the patient and scheduling the patient for a visit .
