Fentany is a morphine like drug used to reduce pain ,severe pain . It is usually used for anesthesia perposes. It is used for cancer patients and other ailments to reduce the severe pain .

Julies level of growth wouldn't be affected as its clear that julie is in severe pain and is on morphine based drugs . Its clear either the patient is chronic stage of some disease or is bed ridden. So it will hardly affect a chronic patient physically. But mental effects are there .

Nursing interventions.

Adequate support to body.

Protect from external sources of heat.

Oversedation should be avoided.

Give psychological support.

Maintain cardio vascular functioning.

Consideration must be given to ....
