Answer #1

Athletes do intense workouts everyday for better performance in their games and this workouts often cause muscle injuries to them. These injuries might impair their performance and to avoid this situation they take pain medications so that they don't feel pain and can perform in game but eventually most of the athletes have become addicted to these medications and studies show that pain medications in the long run have bad effects on their performance. So to rectify it physiotherapy care should be more frequent for the athletes and also they should consult chiropractors more often to relax their muscles so they don't get frequent damages to muscle. If athlete has some injury and feeling pain then rather giving him pain medications and perform, they should be given rest to repair the muscles.
