Being a nurse some of the ways the practice can change when educating about the code status and advance directive are

• The patient and patient party will be more aware of these in the healthcare sector
• Nurses will play a major role in describing the advance directives to the baby boomers
• In incorporate this in the nursing care plan
• The clients knowledge in regards to this will be assessed everytime
• The staffs will be more aware of the clinical status of the patient and can activate the code status if there is clinical detoriation without any hesitance.
