What changes would you like to see implemented in the use or development of intermittent urinary catheters?

Intermittent catheters are most widely used catheters but there are some changes that need to be made in development or use of intermittent catheters.

• Intermittent catheters need to be changed three or four times a day and that need to be changed.
• Frequent in and out of catheter tube causes discomfort to patients and that should be changed because lubrication on the tube tend to get less as it is used more and after lubrication is reduced, this frequent change of tube should be changed.
• Frequent change of tube increases the risk of UTI, so development should be done in this area.
