Social determinants of health in simple refers to the relationship of human with their society or surrounding environment from birth to death. Some of the social determinants are educational status ,socioeconomic status ,marital status ,employment ,language ,medical facility etc. ,

The racial and socioeconomic disparities are still prevalent in US besides achieving the most modern medicine ,treatment and technology . People are biased on the grounds of this deprived of certain healthcare services from the healthcare sector itself. For example a low income or a poor patient will not be able to get a medical health checkup done in private hospital and discriminated because of the economic status .Though there are enough laws governing this not to happen it is widely prevalent in many states.
