Though cholestrol is present only in fatty foods,it is important to understand that type of fatty acids present in plant foods can either high or low cholestrol synthesis in the body.
Therefore we understand that cholestrol comes both from animals and plants inthe body(organic molecules)..the drug classification that is used to decrease this synthesis is esterfied since unesterfied(less than 50%) of cholestrol is synthesis in the body.
Though the fatty foods contain cholestrol and consumption of these foods can get cholestrol into the blood, the main culprit that increases BLOOD/SERUM cholestrol is the type of Triglycerides present in fat/oil.
HDL is considered as good cholestrol as this is type of lipoprotein that contains high amount of HDL and low amount of LDL..
